Do you like this?

big dreams

This year's Cleveland International Film Festival is a little over half-way through its life cycle. And, again this year, there are far too many notable films for any one human being to see in the 11-day festival. Be that as it may, I have tried to see as many as my sanity and sleep schedule will allow. The ones that have stood out the most are The Hedgehog, The Silence, A Somewhat Gentle Man, Kooky, and Uncle Boonmee (Who Can Recall His Past Lives).

As for the rest of the festival, here's 5 films that deserve strong consideration:

1. Steam of Life

2. 3 (Drei)

3. Big Dreams, Little Tokyo

4. White on Rice

5. Mountain Blood (Bergblut)

Other films I'm interested in seeing if I have time include Bibliotheque Pascal, Into Eternity, PressPausePlay and Mamma GoGo.
