Summit County CASA/GAL is pleased to host the inaugural “#ArtyPartyAkron, Kids Creating for CASA” presented by Sterling Jewelers at Akrona Galleries.
This art auction and party features one-of-a-kind art pieces from area students. Pieces of art are being accepted now through March 31, 2015. The art will be judged by Don and Lisa Drumm of Don Drumm Studios & Gallery, artist Mark Soppleland and art educator Joanna Haag. Tickets are priced at $50 per person.
One hundred percent of all proceeds go directly to the CASA/GAL Program of Summit County. CASA’s mission is to provide every child who enters the court system as a result of allegations of abuse, neglect or dependency with a trained community volunteer to advocate for what is in the child’s “best interest.” The CASA Volunteer Board Association, Inc. was established to further the mission and support the work of the CASA in Summit County, Ohio. The board partners with the program by raising and administering funds for enhanced programming, personnel support, promoting public awareness of the CASA program and recognizing the efforts of CASA's heroic volunteers.
Sterling Jewelers Inc. has generously pledged to match any gift, up to a total maximum donation of $15,000.
