The Salvation Army of Summit County will present “Booth: The Birth of The Army Committed to Compassion” a riveting theatre performance starring Actors Summit Artistic Director Neil Thackaberry. This one-man play benefits the H.U.G.S. for the Homeless program of The Salvation Army, which provides hats, underwear, gloves and socks for those in need.
The play is scheduled for Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. at Greystone Hall & Theatre, 103 South High Street in downtown Akron. Sponsorships and Patron level tickets are now on sale at The Salvation Army and downloadable order forms will be available at www.salvationarmyakron.org/BoothPlay. General Admission tickets will go on sale April 1, 2015.
