Joe Filisko and Eric Noden feature the early blues and roots styles of 1920's and 1930's performers Sonny Terry, Daddy Stovepipe, Fred McDowell, and Gwen Foster, and they draw on the spirit of American music to influence their own original tunes. The blend of Eric's unusual acoustic guitar and Joe's ability to make his harmonica cry, flutter, or sing takes audiences back decades while still maintaining a contemporary sound.
