Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) kicks off its 2015 Jazz under the Stars concert series on June 6, 2015 at 7pm at Medina’s Uptown Park with Tim Akin (bass) and Friends playing tunes from the American Songbook. In a short period of time, this free summer festival has become one of the preeminent jazz festivals in the region, featuring highly acclaimed musicians and drawing audiences from Ohio and beyond. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics and sit back and enjoy these top-notch concerts.
Tim is a keyboard, bass and vocalist musician based out of Hudson Ohio. With his rock background, Tim has been apart of multiple bands now including Akin for Jazz, which has been performing since August 2005. Tim studied music at The University of Akron
