Cleveland International Film Festival Night One

by

The opening night festivities at Tower City (the main hub for the festival, where most of the films are being shown) for the Cleveland International Film Festival bode well for things to come. It was a blast! Free popcorn and drinks greeted attendees as they arrived. The event was very well organized with plenty of staffers standing by to offer information and assistance.

The opening night film "TiMER" garnered 5 theaters worth of attendees. The feedback I got from people was generally very positive. As far as home-openers go, "TiMER" was a great way to kickoff the festival: lighthearted, sometimes humorous and, in the end, thought-provoking. It asks what is love and more importantly what role does it play in our lives and decisions. If the question of who you will love is removed, is the real meaning and sacrifice of love removed?
