Leinenkugel Brewing Co. head to Cleveland

by

Leinenkugel Brewing Co. will make a stop in Cleveland this week to celebrate its 145th birthday. The brewery's arrival is just in time for American Craft Beer Week, which runs all week throughout the nation. Bringing along a customized Airstream trailer, Leinenkugel are on a cross-country tour across the United States.

Fifth generation brewers, brothers Jake, John, and Dick Leinenkugel, will travel the U.S. to greet fans and talk beer. Teaming up with Master Cheesemakers from Wisconsin-based Sartori Cheese Company, Leinie’s will offer beer and cheese pairing insights.

On Thursday, May 17 and Friday, May 18, the Leinenkugel brothers will be at various locations throughout the Cleveland area, including the Cleveland Indian’s game on May, 18, where President Jake Leinenkugel will throw out the first pitch.

Leinenkugel’s, brewed in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, is the leading craft brewer in the upper Midwest and distributes nationally. The brewery's seasonal offering, Summer Shandy, is a favorite among mainstream beer drinkers.
