The annual Harvest Festival at Hale Farm & Village expands to two weekends

The annual Harvest Festival at Hale Farm & Village, presented by Giant Eagle, Inc., is a favorite fall tradition for Northeast Ohio families and is now two weekends - October 13-14 and 20-21.

Guests can experience activities of the past including pressing apple cider, making apple butter and cheese-making…the old fashioned way. The festival also includes live music, historical presentations on herb drying, oxen demonstrations, wagon rides and pumpkin painting. Costumed interpreters celebrate the fall bounty and engage guests in the harvest activities of the past.

Children and adults can join in 19th-century games, explore the historic village, period farm, and see craft and trade demonstrations including blacksmithing, candle-making, pottery, and glass blowing.

Hale Farm & Village’s unique Café and Museum Store are open 10 am to 5 pm on all event days. Hale Farm & Village and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad have joined together to present the first Harvest Festival Express .

Admission: $10 adults/seniors; $5 children (age 3-12); WRHS members FREE. Special rates are available for groups of 15 or more. No reservations are necessary. Hale Farm & Village is located at 2686 Oak Hill Road, Bath, Ohio 44210.
