Copley Circle

If you haven’t been to Copley Circle lately, you might be surprised to find the new stores and great things to eat in this picturesque fusion of old and new.

Surrounding the bandstand gazebo where Copley and Cleveland-Massillon roads meet, a variety of charming gift and antique shops are interspersed between service-based businesses for many of the things you need.

Circle Café serves breakfast and lunch. They feature homemade muffins and cookies, serve generous made-to-order sandwich wraps and burgers, and locals say their chicken and cream of potato soups are “the bomb.”

Flower Haus Too, a full-service florist recently moved into an adjoining suite next to the café. The two businesses keep the French doors between them open during café hours so customers can enjoy leisurely visits at these cozy stops.

Just south of the circle, toward the middle school, is Copley Feed & Supply. In business since 1939, this local favorite offers personal service and staff members who are year-round problem solvers for just about everything outside your home (lawn, pond and gardening supplies, tools, accessories and gear like muck boots). They also carry an extensive line of specialty pet nutrition products and supplies.

To beautify your home on the inside, you’ll find three antique dealers right across Cleveland-Massillon Road. Red Door Antiques will grab your attention with their welcoming flag outside and beautiful heirloom pieces for sale. Copley Antique Mall offers multiple rooms, with clocks, glassware, pottery, furniture and more—all rich memories of simpler times. Right next door, My Country Heart is overflowing with folk art, crafts and other vintage pieces to warm up any room.

After 18 years in Montrose, Just That Twist moved to the circle last fall. This upscale gift, interior design and decorating shop fills the historic farmhouse between antique stores with exceptional gifts. The farmhouse is also available after-hours for special occasion parties like birthdays and bridal showers.

Across Copley Road, Designer League sells dance, sports and cheer gear and offers custom embroidery and silk-screening services. PlasTEAK offers recycled plastic lumber and products for benches, decks and the like.

Needles ‘n Pins offers an impressive selection of fabrics, quilting supplies, yarns and felts as well as kits for specialized textile projects like baby clothes and blankets. Their quilting classes and UFOs (unfinished objects project nights) are popular weeknight escapes.

Copley Circle has a comfortable, country living feel that’s just a stone’s throw from the city. Spend a few hours there, and you’ll probably find yourself longing to go back for more. akronlife
