Corbin Bernsen's "3 Day Test" films in Akron

Director Corbin Bernsen returned to Akron this week to film his second family-friendly movie, “3 Day Test.”

Set at Christmas time, the movie is about a father who challenges his family by locking them in their house to see if they can survive without water, power and electricity.

During the shoot, the film crew took over a Grant Street residence hall, a home on Merriman Road, a Worthington Road location and Manatoc Boy Scout Camp in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

The movie will also feature local products, like Bil-Jac dog food and Dan-Dee Potato Chips, and local companies Thomarios Construction and J.W. Didado Electric Inc.
