Flash: The Fourth Annual “Joyful Tastes of Life” Benefit

Akron General Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service (VNS) hosted its fourth annual “Joyful Tastes of Life” benefit Oct. 10 at St. George’s Family Center in Akron.

This fun, casual evening featured wines, craft beer from local breweries and food prepared by area restaurants. Sue Wilson, WQMX Program Director/Morning Show Co-Host, and Tim Daugherty, WONE Program Director, served as the evening’s emcees.  

The event included a silent auction, raffle and live music. It was sponsored by Dr. John J. Petrus, and all proceeds went toward end-of-life patient care and supportive services at Hospice of VNS.
