Sugar Plum Tour sets fundraising record

The Gay Community Endowment Fund (GCEF), an endowment of Akron Community Foundation, hosted its annual Sugar Plum Tour on Dec. 2. Chair Steve Williams says the fundraising event had 781 tour goers (up from 611 last year) and raised an unprecedented $72,400 (up from $53,000 last year.)
