Joel Testa and Brett Moses create buildings that blend sleek modern design with classic beauty through Mota Design Group. Some of their current projects include mixed-use developments—live, work, lifestyle communities—like Mogadore’s West Village and West Lake’s Crocker Park, as well as urban revitalization with the Northside Lofts. They have combined technology with creativity in their new tool for interior design: Motavision. With the help of a pair of goggles, clients can take a virtual walk through the 3D design. This innovation allows them to explore the space that may become their home during the design process. The duo amped up their talents with their work on Craft Beer Bar in Cuyahoga Falls. Testa and Moses not only designed the space, but also developed all the marketing and branding. Philanthropy is equally as important to these dynamic men—Testa founded the Formerly Homeless Foundation, a nonprofit that works to destigmatize homelessness through community outreach, job-training programs and a story-sharing website.
