New dishes at D’Agnese’s in Akron and Hudson

The Tomato Grill in Hudson and its newer sister restaurant D’Agnese’s Trattoria and Café on White Pond Drive in Akron have added a few specialties to their menu this spring, including dishes featuring the freshest seasonally caught fish and seafood, along with dishes inspired by seasonal produce.

Chef Brent Wuhr of Tomato Grill will tempt his customers with the freshly prepared pan-seared Mahi Mahi served over risotto with crispy prosciutto, balsamic reduction and truffle oil. Equally delicious is D’Agnese’s Trattoria and Café’s pan-seared Diver scallops over spring vegetables, risotto with asparagus and lemon butter — created by Chef Joe Gallagher.

Both chefs also highly recommend the veal saltimbocca with proscuitto, baby spinach and marsala mushroom sauce.

The restaurants are open seven days a week; catering and business luncheons also are available for any event, large or small.
