This article inspired my Gorge video

Thank you for penning this, Molly. I grew up in Akron, Canton, Cuyahoga Falls, and Stow, and like most folks in NE Ohio, I'd been to the Gorge as a kid. However, after graduating from Akron U in the mid 90s, I've been living in Arizona. This article served as inspiration for an amateur hiking/nature video I filmed at the Gorge this summer (July 2019), although I don't believe my video was articulate as your article.
Nevertheless, being on the trail brought back some fond memories. The video I filmed is here: https://youtu.be/h1ky2J7RVpw
If you check it out, I hope you enjoy it.

Rock stuctures

Do you happen to know what the curved rock structures are there for?

I came to these comments looking for an answer to this question. I’m thinking some sort of old large piping or also possibly remnants from the roller coasters mentioned in the article
