Bent Ladder Cider and Wine 13550 Mount Eaton Rd, Doylestown, Ohio 44230
Please join us for April’s Bent Science as Dr. Fred Michel from Ohio State discusses solar energy systems and their impact and economics in Ohio! Dr. Michel is a Professor of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering at OSU. He is also President of the non-profit Wayne County Sustainable Energy Network (www.wcsen.org) and teaches Solar Energy Systems at the OSU Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster.
His talk will involve the environmental benefits of solar energy systems and their economics in Ohio, as well as his family’s experience installing and using solar power in their home to reduce their carbon footprint. He’ll follow up with examples of residential, commercial and agricultural solar energy systems in Wayne County, before opening the floor to questions and a group discussion.
Bent Science is free, but please note that Bent Ladder is 21+ only, after 6pm.
