About Cosmic Village
"Cosmic Village is a conscious electro-folk-hop collective from Cleveland, OH led by Uche, a Nigerian singer/songwriter who was born in the U.K. and moved the the U.S. when she was 6 years old. Paired with musician and flow artist Monika Lucidian, the duo bring a strong feminine energy to every stage they occupy, making their audiences feel elevated, real, and comfortable.
Cosmic Village's main goal is to use sound and various other forms of art, including poetry, flow arts and visual artistry, to bring about positive social change through peaceful activism such as environmental initiatives, self-love, artistic collaboration, and giving back to the global community in holistic and sustainable ways.
Powerful lyrics and strong, honest melodies have allowed Cosmic Village emerge vibrantly during 2014, their debut year."
