In the early 1800s, American cuisine started to show its own character separate from our British roots. Chef Larkin is recreating a menu from 1820 that will feature classic, delicious recipes from early American cookbooks, such as Amelia Simmon’s American Cookery, Mary Randolph’s The Virginia Housewife, and Sarah Josepha Hale’s The Good Housekeeper.
All seating for the dinner is assigned by table, with generally 6-8 guests per table. Please list other guests you wish to be seated with below. Dietary restrictions and food allergies may also be accommodated if listed.
Reservations taken through October 14th.
Tickets are $48 Conservancy members, $50 non-members, and $20 children ages 5-12.
