JazzFest 2018: Victor Provost and UA Student Jazz Ensemble
to
Stage Door at EJ Thomas Hall 198 Hill St., Akron, Ohio 44325
Steel Pannist Victor Provost and a special tribute to Roland Paolucci highlight The University of Akron's JazzFest 2018, March 13-17 at Guzzetta and EJ Thomas Halls.
Widely regarded as one of the world's leading voices on the steel pan, Victor Provost has meticulously developed a reputation as a "dazzling" soloist, crafting an impressive improvisational voice and style. He is the 2018 Bittle Jazz Artist-in-Resience, made possible by the Bittle Jazz Residency, generously supported by Frances Yates Bittle.
Thursday's concert, featuring Provost and UA's student Jazz Ensemble, is on EJ Thomas Hall's Stage Door. Enter through the blue door. Tickets are $12 general admission, $6 non-UA students and free for UA students with Zip Card. Call 330-253-2488 or visit www.uaevents.com.
