LifeCenter Plus 1533 Darrow Road, Hudson, Ohio 44236
Teams of cyclists will ride on stationery bicycles for 262 minutes on February 26 beginning at 1 pm. The date of the event represents when Marine Lance Corporal Andy Nowacki, of Lake County, gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Ten other fitness centers in Northeast Ohio in addition to LifeCenter Plus will be participating with members riding in the Pedal For Heroes events, including Cleveland State University Recreation Center, Cleveland; FitWorks in Mentor, Rocky River, Stow and Willoughby; Mentor Heisley Racquet and Fitness Club, Mentor; Ohio CycleWorks and Indoor Cycling, Cuyahoga Falls; RP Fitness, Akron; Twinsburg Fitness Center, Twinsburg; and UFit2 Fitness, Hudson.
Each fitness center is selecting their own local charitable veteran’s organization as the beneficiary of the event. Some of the other veterans groups that will be benefiting from the Pedal For Heroes event include Warrior’s Journey Home, GhostRider Foundation, and the Freedom House.
