orKids "I Live In the City!" Patterns in the Urban and Rural Communities with Jo Oklessen at PAA

We will learn this great song to become aware of the variety of shapes, colors, and patterns that are part of our urban and rural communities. Through music, instruments, improvisation, creative movement with props, and art, we will discover how patterns are everywhere. Saturday, Sept 8, from 10am – 11:30. Ages: 7-10, $12.00 non-members, $9.00 PAA members. Minimum 8 Max. 12. Mary Jo Oklessen has taught music for 35 years. She has a BME, a Master's in Outdoor Ed. and Level III Certification in Orff-Schulwerk. She has presented workshops at the Highland Library, Wolf Creek Environmental Center, River Run Earth Studies Camp in CVNR, to name a few. She also performs in 3 bands and composes many songs. She enables kids to grow creatively and teaches with a holistic approach. Register on-line here
