When The Rite of Spring opened in Paris 100 years ago, it incited both awe and outrage. It also made musical history. With performers from throughout Northeast Ohio led by David Shimotakahara, Artistic Director of Ground- Works Dance Theater, this is the Akron Symphony’s first full-scale Classics Series production bringing together music and dance.
