The Market at Lock 3 is a unique, outdoor, producers-only market managed by Downtown Akron Partnership. Enjoy fresh produce, handmade cheeses, fresh baked goods, home crafted gifts and more.
Kick off the market season on June 19 at Downtown Akron Employee Appreciation Day and enjoy a build-your-own sundae bar. The pickle and salsa contests return as well for you to show off your best recipes. The pickle contest is August 14 and categories are dill, sweet, spicy and other (any other pickled vegetable). The salsa contest is September 4 with mild and mellow, get spicy salsa, fruity salsa and a surprise category.
Each Friday, come to The Market at Lock 3, get your fresh produce and a weekly recipe card featuring the produce of the week.
