Austin was the saxophonist for the Olivet Institutional Baptist Church and has continued to put his stamp on Jazz in Cleveland. He has played with Avant, Keith Washington, Boney James Tony Watson from Pieces of a Dream, Sean Jones, Walter Barnes Jr. of Baby Face and Robert Hubbard of Cleveland’s Hubbs Groove.
